Zdeslav Barač (CRO)
Board Member
Barač was the President of the Croatian Volleyball Federation for many years (2003-2004 and 2008-2017) and his involvement in Volleyball has lasted for decades already, previously serving as Vice-President of the same organisation from 1997 to 2003. Members of his family, and especially his father, have played a leading role in the development and growth of both Yugoslav and Croatian Volleyball.
Barač, who has been leading a German trading company since 1989, became a member of the CEV Board of Administration for the first time in 2015 – and received a second mandate to hold this very same position for another four years following the elections held in conjunction with the XLI CEV General Assembly in Vienna. Since 2012, he has been a member of the FIVB Development Commission as well.
