Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic congratulates newly crowned World Champions

Belgrade, Serbia, October 23, 2018. The President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Aleksandar Vucic, received members of the Women’s National team of Serbia, who were recently crowned World Champions, in his residence last night. The official reception was attended by Mr Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska and newly elected member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Vanja Udovicic, Minister of Youth and Sports in the Serbian Government, and Mr Bozidar Maljkovic, President of the Serbian Olympic Committee.

The delegation of the Serbian Volleyball team was led by Mr Zoran Gajic, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, together with Mr Ivan Knezevic, Seceretary General, and Mr Ivan Miljkovic, First Vice-President. Mr Bojan Kekic, President of the Executive Board in Banka Postanska stedionica (Postal Savings Bank) - general sponsor of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, was also present at the gathering.



Maja Ognjenovic, team captain, presented Mr Vucic and Mr Dodik with balls signed by all members of the national team while head coach Zoran Terzic gifted the the gold medal from the World Championship to Mr Vucic.
